Technology

D-Fetch is a Norwegian developer of IoT-solutions that track a multitude of datapoints using wireless, battery-driven sensors and network devices. All our devices communicate via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), and we are experts in large-scale mesh network topologies.

Through years of research and development, we can offer high quality hardware, advanced firmware, and user-friendly software. Our platform is built on open standards so that you may easily include hardware from other vendors.

Technology

How it works

Bluetooth Low Energy

Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) is our core knowledge. We design with efficiency in mind to ensure long battery lifetimes.

Multi-Sensor

We equip our sensor with multiple sensor functions to reduce the amount of  hardware required.

Fast deployment

We have developed an application that enables you to easily register assets to pair with our sensors – say goodbye to long spreadsheets and clunky lists.

Technology

Taking the complexity out of IoT

With today's advancement in technology, deploying an IoT application should be fast and easy. A proof-of-concept should not be a costly research project, but a pragmatic and technical approach to solve a business problem.

Easy deployment

By integrating several sensor functions in one physical device, and reusing any relevant networks already in place, we reduce the need for putting in more hardware. It is the data that matters, not the boxes.

No pairing needed

IoT should be plug and play, therefore we have removed manual Bluetooth pairing. The sensors are delivered already provisioned to your network.

Hassle-free data collection

By using standard MQTT integration, we deliver the data directly to the broker of your choice. In no time, you can integrate the data in your application (edge or cloud).

Technology

Deployment step by step

Step 1

Connect the gateway

The gateway is the part of the network that converts the Bluetooth signal to a TCP/IP stream. The gateway uses the MQTT client to connect securely to the MQTT broker via TLS

Step 2

Ensure Bluetooth coverage

Use our Airmesh technology to deploy a Bluetooth network in your facility. This network will allow a connection to the sensor and act as a transport layer for the sensor data

Step 3

Deploy the sensors

Use the wireless infrastructure to communicate with the sensors or do indoor positioning with our artificial intelligence positioning engine
